Bjernared is eagerly pursuing investment opportunities that will modernizes our mill to increase efficiency, quality and improve the working environment for our employees. Our control systems in our combination sorting line enables us to sort dried timber at the same time as we saw. The sawn timber is end marked and stored in our new storage house. Our new log sorting line with high capacity will minimize the need to move the timber around at the mill and reduce our climate impact. The log sorting line is currently being built and expected to be finished during the spring of 2021. Our mill is currently adjusted to saw approximately 25 000 m3 sawn timber a year.
Our modern production apparatus consists of a AKE/Söderhamn band saw line with upgraded control systems and an edging line from ARI. The combination sorting line and the packaging line are both from Roséns Maskin AB. Our kiln driers are three stainless steel chamber driers from WSAB and are certified KD 56°C/30min. Our planing line is also customised for or long lengths, as well as log sorting line.
